History

The Haji family is an entrepreneurial family originally from South Asia. In 1971, soon after the Government of Tanzania started nationalizing assets, the Haji family moved to Vancouver, Canada.

Three generations have been building successful businesses for over 70 years. The first generation focused on manufacturing and distribution in East Africa. The second on real estate, hospitality, manufacturing and distribution in East Africa and Canada. The third generation has expanded into investing and operating across many industries including: real estate, hospitality, technology, healthcare, education and mining in Canada, the United States and in the Emerging Markets.

The Haji family has a long history of community service.
